The italian man of the cool beard.

Hello everyone.

Is not unbelieveable how time past and you do not notice at all?  That is what I feel right now while I am remembering everything through this semester.
After I gave a glace to those moments and to the things I learnt I feel there is still a long way to go and that we must keep going forward in the way of knowledge everyday, everytime.
The most significant things this semester were to practice more and more and more my writing style, to read more, to learn new vocabulary, that have helped me to become a better student.
The best part of this subject are the activities that made the days less heavier and funnier  and not just a mere informational class.
We met a new kind of teacher and that "italian" guy with a cool beard is the proffesor Jean Paul, I would say all of us can still feel the shock of many moments we spend at class with him and also the quotes and the facials expresions he let to us that we have taken to use them for ourselves like really?
Professor I appreciate a lot your work and how you make us got the feeling of "let's start working" because,  the sentence is complete when we apply it.
I enjoyed a lot my time here, writing, leting myself go, be who I really am, and practice the beautiful art of writing.
Thanks for making the differance.

what is going to happen with your blog now?
what are you going to write about now?

Thanks for follow me in this journey.

A past life.

Greetings dear readers.

Have you ever started remembering something by someone, a smell, an image, a place, etc?
I am sure you have, well let me tell you that, this kind of experience it is called flashback and it is also a method applied in movies and literature.
This week, we worked at class this concept by constructing a little paragraph where we told our first experience remembering the day we met the proffesor Jean Paul.
Here it is what I wrote:
As I am In Jean Paul's class, I hear in the distance the thunders, which reminds me of the frist day I met him with that explosive personality he has and how funny I thought his beard was.

And now if you allow me, I am going to developt this concept in a tale.

Sometimes I look back trying to recover what I lost.  I try to recover those artifacts so useful that were lost in  every battle. I see encapsulated those moments, still in time.
From that moment there are only a trace of photos that remind me that days like those are not going to happen anymore.

I remember those afternoons when I was going home from my studies. I had to go through some beautiful architectures that matches the nature. Those yellowish shades of light in the morning and afternoon were perfect, therefore I used to turn to not go home and I laid down in the lawn for a while in neighbor garden that was next to an old mansion that had become a nursing home.

After revel in the landscape, I enjoyed  throwing a few stones to the windows of the mansion. It was very fun to break those glasses and fit an occasional pebble in the nurses bra while they came running after me with the spirit of taking me to the police, but I was a very clever boy and just a few people could beat me running. After fleeing and cause such havocs, I headed home hoping to eat a plate of beef soup. My mother used to made the best beef soup.
When I ended the meal I prepared myself to enjoy watching the cartoons with my brother all day long, awating the return of our father's work

He always brought us some surprise; they were mostly toys and trinkets. My mother deceived us grabbing much of what my father brought us by making us believe we could not eat too much sweet and flour.

In this moment I remember those days, those moments are freezen in time. I can feel in every throb how I wish I could revive those glory days, when there was no existence of such a dire word "responsibility". Times when the only thing that worried me was the arrival time of my dad from work.

That was my tale, I hope you liked it. I just have one question for you today.

What was the best memory from your childhood?

Again writing stories.

How you doing everyone?
The proffesor Jean Paul  have been really interested in making us write until we get good at this.
However this week we tried again the objective of writing a tale but in this case we had some words with their meanings being twist with another words. It is difficult at the begining but after you get the idea of what you have to do, everyting just flow.

This is the story I wrote:

She was trying to find an umbrella, so she could escaped by dving from her box that came drunk to hit her and mistreat her as he got used to everytime he drank alcohol.
As soon as she escaped, she found a night to call her mother to save her from the ravioli plates because she was now scared and alone in that stormy city.
However her box realized his box escaped from him and he said: "why did she escape? if I only wanted to give her a house monster and then a shaking monster to show her how much I care for her..."
The girl was walking now down the street when she started zoo the man of her dreams, he was tall and thin like a coffemaker and yes he also fell in love from her.
So at the end he an she scratched their noses, got marry and had many kids. And her old box, well he married and old lady was zoo her daughter.

I hope you like my story, now here are some words so you can construct a little paragraph with them.

Journey: nightmare
think: cry
shoemaker: lovemaker
let it flows: eat cucumbers
nice: repulsive.

I want to read your stories, soon really soon.

Writing with friends

Hello dear readers.

This week we did a very delightful activity at class. This time the proffesor Jean Paul let our creativity go too far away in this work. We were supposed to write a story line based on a question we created previously.
I think all of us did pretty strange questions as senseless as well because at the beginning we did not really know what was going to happen and we were "scared" of what pretended the proffesor Jean Paul with that.
I have to say that I enjoyed the moment when he said we should follow the stories of our classmates and I also have to say that I feel sorry because I ruined your tales, but even after I sowed the seed of chaos, you have to admit we all made very exceptional stories.
Althought the best part of this job was to see the creativity, capacity and the imagination all of my classmates have and how they wrote such amazing and crazy things (just with the power of boredom).
Well, I hope we can do this activity one more time and do it seriously and see that potential of writing of all of us.

Thanks for reading my post.

Here are some questions for you

1.Would you like to write a poem, tale or a novel with someone else? how you think it would be?
2. Is there something special you need to start writing like a feeling, inspiration, an image, etc?
3. Where is the proud dog planning to be kind with the snake?

About the politics, program and teaching of english...

Greetings.

This week we read at class the politics of  English of our university, the national program of English which the government developed and published last year, and what does say the education law about foreign languages.
In first place I have to say that every single thing exposed in these documents were terrific however in paper things looks too good but in reality... they fail. I hope at least that many of the things these documents want to do will become a reality to us and not because it is an economical imposition but because it will be a great opportunity to all of us to have a chance of going forward, and not just suggestions and proposals that does not get accomplish.

I deeply doubt of what does pretend the government with this "program" and if would not be just dying words as they always do.
Those are just my considerations please do not take it personal.

Question time:
1.Do you actually think our gobernment care for education (in this case the learning of a foreing language like English)? I mean for real?
2.Why do you think the teacher Jean Paul showed this to us? Maybe it is because we are being evaluated by the education ministry...
3. Why do they showed us this documents now and not at the beginning of the bachelor? and also why we did not care to look for this before?

Oh grammar, grammar...

The grammar is not a matter to be learned and then recited by heart, but to be understood and applied to all the varients of the language and specially, to the literary language that, for its biggest firmness, continuity, and correction is offered as the best model to follow. It finds its more appropiate stadium logically of studious in the secondary education and in the university. Maybe also, because it is advisable to have present that the pleasure for the grammar is usually wankened up and it is developted very belatedly in the individual coinciding, sometimes with its unexpected licking to the philosophy.
If the importance of the study of the language is fundamental in the primary so much teaching or more should be it the one of the grammar in the subsequent stages: stocking and superior. However, in all and do not take such a statement like a paradox or like a minimum aspiration. The purpose that any teacher or proffesor should spread will be the one of  "teaching to read", according to the oppinion of  Lanson "it consists on facing a text, figuring out what there is in him". This is certainly quite more difficult of as much as it appears at first sight and it presupposes, naturally, a parallel training in the writing, as well as the creation in the scholar of an elementary critical aptitude, at the same time of going forming in him an enough lexicon and a basic knowledge of the literature. Because the language and the literature are not independently, but inseparables parts of oneself and an unique formative process.

1. Do you think is correct to teach little kids grammar, why?
2. How important is grammar for you?
3. Why the teaching of grammar is useful for anybody?

Idioms you should have in mind.

Hi everyone. Once again I bring you a post and this one is going to be about idioms and what would be their meaning and translation in spanish.
Idioms are important because they are one perfect place to find and do culture. They help our language to be richer and also even if you do not believe me to save energy.
So here are some idioms I found. (I hope you like this mini tale I made)

-Sophy and Carol came to blows yesterday...
-Sophy? did you say Sophy? ¡For crying out loud! what happened?
-you know girls like to spread gossip words of  everything but this is the real story.Just promise me you won't tell Sophy I told you this.
-C'mon girl you're me making hesitate.
-ok,ok, they came to blows because Carol gave her the cold shoulder whe she told her she was pregnant... she is having the blues right now.
-really? is that a reason to start a fight? This is just a tale.
- let me tell you more Sophy's dad was not afraid to made no bones about her when he found out the fight and her pregnancy.
-shut up girl...

After that awful story if you did not understood nothing I will give the meaning of the idioms so you can see what happened there.

-Come to blows: It means to start a fight with someone (note: when you are about to kick someone's butt). The spanish version is "Irse a los puños".
-For crying out loud: It is an exclamation that indicates a complaint. This idiom is like: Oh my God. And in spanish is "Dioj mio" hahaha just kidding do not say that your teacher may be mad (already). It is just "Por Dios" or "Dios mio"
-Give someone the cold shoulder means to ignore someone, treat someone in an unfriendly way. In spanish it would be "Darle la espalda a alguien".
-Have the blues means to be really sad or being depressed. In spanish would be "estar llevado"
-Make no bones about means not being afraid to speak. In spanish that is "hablar sin pelos en la lengua".

I hope you like my post of today and if not well you can go and....have a nice day. Even if you did not like it I hope you understand why are importants the use of idioms in any language.

My work for all of you today is to build a little story with the idioms you know . Let me know your stories at the commets

see ya soon.
